About eight lucky recipients were finally allocated new homes in Savannah city.
The residents were very pleased to finally have a place they can call home.
They thanked the ward Councillor for being hands on.
The Reporter team asked the councillor when the next allocations will be.
He said in September even though the date has not been set yet.
Another official said he pleads with people to be patient with the government as they are working on a tight budget, while the economic climate is not helping either. They are also having quite a huge list of home applications that are awaiting approval. In conclusion he said they can only do the best they can.
