The Vaal-triangle is a historically significant area in the story of South African history. Many leaders and well-known people were either born in the Vaal or created their significant moments in these townships. This was a hive of activity in all sorts of projects like education, sport, music, religion and politics to mention but a few.

Industrial growth and urbanization have seen the Vaal grow to be among the largest townships in the country. Recently statistics show that there is high unemployment in the area while industrial activity seems to be shrinking.

Circulation of information can lead to opportunities being explored to the benefit of the communities.

Despite all this, I have noticed a significant lack of information dissemination within the communities. Circulation of information can lead to opportunities being explored to the benefit of the communities. I believe that spreading of information can be the key to social and economic upliftment.

It is my wish to rejuvenate and maintain the historical integrity of this great township. This newspaper is my humble effort to ensure the Vaal township is never forgotten.
