
The community of Zone 17 in Sebokeng will get to use their newly built clinic when the Gauteng Provincial Government returns to Emfuleni for the official opening, tomorrow. As part of the Ntirhisano outreach programme, Premier Panyaza Lesufi will be accompanied by the MEC for Transport and Logisitcs, MEC for Human Settlements and Infrastructure Development and the MEC for Health and Wellness.
The programme of the day will commence with a site visit to assess progress at the Vereeniging Intermodal facility, followed by the official opening of Zone 17 clinic in Sebokeng and an engagement with local stakeholders.
The new zone 17 clinic was built at a cost of R9.2 million and includes provision for consulting rooms, counselling rooms, day beds, dentistry and other health services. The full operation of the clinic is expected to address the healthcare needs of the fast-growing population in the area.
