The deceased Daniel Sechaba Mthembu was working at Plot No. C5 Kaalfontein, Poortjie.

It is alleged that on the 10th Friday at Plot No.C5 at Kaalfontein, Poortjie; the deceased was working at the plot when he suffered fatal injuries in an accident that took his life. According to the statement issued by the Orange farm (SAPS) on behalf of brigadier RM Buthelezi, the deceased was apparently run over by a tractor and sustained injuries that led to his death. He was working as a tractor assistant at the plot. A case docket of inquest was registered and still under investigation. The deceased was then taken to Sebokeng mortuary.

Orange farm (SAPS) is appealing to members of the community or anyone who might have information regarding the family of the deceased person, to kindly contact the Investigating Officer Warrant Officer Lekhu on (066)288 2326.

An appeal is made to family members of the deceased or anyone with information to contact the Investigating Officer or contact Orange Farms police station *(011) 213 8023/8025*

According to the investigation it has emerged that the family of deceased is rumoured to be residing in ext.7 Orange Farm.
