Residents of Tshepiso township in the Vaal get down to the business of cleaning up their township following the campaign which started in Sharpeville last week. We can only hope that the process will continue to be upheld on a continuous basis.

Clean environments should be a way of life rather than be used as an electioneering ploy. If truth be told, we owe it to ourselves to live in tidy neighbourhoods. Littering should be nationally criminalised, and anyone littering should be given a hefty fine or sentence.
