A man around his 20’s who has been terrorising Thetha FM for weeks by stealing has finally been caught red handed last night on the 19th October breaking in at Thetha FM studios yet again. This was apparently his third attempt in less than a month.
Upon the first break-in, the thief entered through the ceiling and stole the amount of about R20 000 meant for petty cash and operations from the sales and marketing office safe before he returned for the second time and stole Ordridge Dingalo’s jazz award, Jimmy Dhlamini and Simon Nwamba’s laptops.
Earlier today shortly after mid-night, he was apprehended by Thetha FM presenter Tebza D and handed to the police. He is expected to appear in court soon.
